Donna L. Connally
Ms. Connally’s experience in both business and the legal profession contributes to her keen understanding of people and the way they operate with others and under pressure. Before studying law, her business career included years of work in the fields of market research and in executive search.
Virtually all of Ms. Connally’s legal practice has been in San Bernardino County, where she has built a reputation with clients, colleagues, judges and Deputy District Attorneys for being prepared, honest, and tough when it counts.
In her 13 years of criminal law practice, Ms. Connally has represented thousands of clients in felony and misdemeanor cases – from fraud and robbery, to assault and murder, to rape and child molestation. She has taken a number of cases to trial, including some with “three strikes” allegations and gang murder charges.
Ms. Connally received her B.A. and M.P.A. at California State University, Fullerton, and earned her J.D. from Whittier Law School.
Marcie L. Gardner
Ms. Gardner has displayed her commitment to serving people by her legal work in many areas, including obtaining relief for prisoners through the Prison Law Office, trying a federal civil rights case concerning officer brutality, aiding a death row inmate in preparing his federal habeas corpus petition, and handling guardianship matters for children.
After graduating in the top 5% of her law school class, Ms. Gardner entered the civil law arena for several years. She proved her worth there, defending corporate clients in high-profile, complex cases. She turned back to her first love, criminal law, when she co-founded Connally & Gardner.
Ms. Gardner’s experience makes her uniquely qualified to manage cases that have volumes of paper and tricky or complex legal issues. She also handles all of the firm’s cases in juvenile court, having developed an acute understanding of how to work with the kids, their parents/guardians, the Probation Department, and, of course, Deputy D.A.’s and judges who work in that court.
Ms. Gardner received her B.A. at The University of Redlands and earned her J.D. from U.C. Davis. |
